Heart Rhythm Research Brussels

Advancing Global Arrhythmia Research and Innovation

Heart Rhythm Research Brussels (HRRB) is an academic center of excellence dedicated to advanced research, innovation, and education in cardiac electrophysiology.

HRRB is built upon the close integration between the Heart Rhythm Management Center, a high-volume clinical center specialized in complex arrhythmia management, and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, a leading European research university.

Clinical activities are conducted at the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel (UZ Brussel), a tertiary academic hospital providing state-of-the-art infrastructure, multidisciplinary expertise, and internationally recognized standards of care.

This structured collaboration between research, clinical excellence, and specialist training enables the rapid translation of scientific innovation into evidence-based therapeutic solutions, generating measurable impact in the care of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.
